Move to SGEN

Website migration, no plugin stack. We rebuild it for you, or you do.

A website migration off WordPress lands you on clean, native architecture: one platform, no plugins underneath, no update roulette. There are two real ways onto SGEN, and you pick the one that fits your team.

Your design is rebuilt, and that is the upgrade. Your content does not have to be retyped, it comes across. Either we do the whole rebuild for you, or you do it yourself on the free Sandbox with the builder, the templates, the global styles, and the import tools doing most of the lifting.

Two ways onto SGEN

Hand us the rebuild, or drive it yourself.

Both paths leave the plugin stack behind and land you on the same native platform. The only question is who does the building.

Path 1 · done for you

We rebuild your site for you

No developer on the team, and no time to learn a new tool? Hand us your current site. We rebuild it on SGEN to your spec, wire your redirects, and hand it back live. You review before anything goes public.

Path 2 · do it yourself, free

Or rebuild it yourself, guided

Rather drive? It is less work than it sounds. Import your content instead of retyping it, start pages from finished templates, and set your brand once with global styles. Start free on the Sandbox with no card and no time limit.

Path 1 · white-glove rebuild

No developer? We rebuild it for you.

You should not have to learn a new platform just to leave an old one. Hand off the rebuild and get back a finished, native SGEN site.

Tell us about your current site and what done looks like. We scope the work, rebuild it on SGEN block by block, import your content, map every old URL to its new home, and hand it back for review before a single page goes public. You arrive plugin-free, on architecture you never had to assemble.

Request your rebuild

Scope and pricing are tailored to your site, so the next step is a short conversation with sales.

The conversion process

How a white-glove rebuild works.

Five steps from your old site to a live SGEN site. You stay in control at every gate, and nothing goes public until you say so.

Step 1

Tell us about your site

Send the URL, the pages that matter, and what done looks like. One short intake, no spec document required.

Step 2

We scope and quote

We map the work to your site and come back with a fixed scope and price. You approve before anything starts.

Step 3

We rebuild on SGEN

Your content comes across, the design is rebuilt in SG Builder, and the modules that were plugins are switched on natively.

Step 4

You review on staging

We hand back a staging URL. You walk every page, ask for changes, and sign off when it is right.

Step 5

We launch with redirects

We push it live and wire 301 redirects from every old URL, so your traffic and rankings move with you.

Ready when you are

Start with a short conversation. We will tell you honestly whether white-glove or DIY fits you best.

Path 2 · do it yourself

Rebuilding sounds like a lot. It is less than you think.

The reason a rebuild feels heavy is the retyping and the from-scratch design. SGEN removes most of both, so the DIY path is faster than the word "rebuild" suggests.

Import your content, do not retype it. Export your pages and posts to CSV or JSON, then bring them in with Advanced Import. A visual field-mapping step lines your columns up to SGEN fields, and drafts stay drafts. See import and export.
Start from templates, not a blank page. Begin each page from a finished native template, so layout is a starting point, not a project. Browse templates.
SG Builder lays out the design. A visual drag-and-drop builder with the precision of Elementor and the output of a real product. See the builder.
Set your brand once, globally. Colors, fonts, and spacing live in the Theme Editor as global tokens. Change one, and every page follows. See the Theme Editor.
The Foundation Pack is free, even on the Sandbox: hosting, SSL, CDN, and a WAF, included from the first page.

Keep your rankings

A rebuild does not have to cost you a single ranking.

Map your old URLs to your new ones before you launch, and the link equity comes with you.

The fear with any rebuild is the same: the URLs change, the old links 404, and the rankings you spent months earning evaporate. SGEN ships a native Redirects manager so that never happens. Set up 301 (permanent) and 302 (temporary) rules that forward every old URL to its new home, and test each one with the built-in Test URL dry-run before you go live. On the white-glove path, we wire these for you.

301 and 302 rules, native. Permanent moves keep your SEO equity, temporary detours hold the old URL in the index.
Test before you launch. Paste any URL into the Test URL form and see which rule would catch it, a dry run with no live redirect.
Bulk-load and audit. Load your full old-to-new map at once, then scan, search, and clean up from one list.

The stack, gone

The plugins you would have carried over, you simply stop paying for.

After the rebuild, the capabilities you stacked plugins for are native inside SGEN. You are not assembling a stack. You are using one product: the whole platform, one price, no plugin tax and no suite tax.

Questions

Questions about moving to SGEN

Do I need a developer to move to SGEN? +
No. On the white-glove path we rebuild the whole site for you, so you need no developer at all, you just review and approve. On the DIY path, SG Builder is visual drag-and-drop and the Theme Editor handles styling globally, so there is no code to write there either. Either way, moving to SGEN does not require a developer.
Will my content transfer, or do I retype everything? +
Your content comes across. There is no one-click WordPress importer, but you do not retype your site: export your pages and posts to CSV or JSON, then bring them in with SGEN's Advanced Import, which includes a visual field-mapping step that lines your columns up to SGEN fields and preserves draft and published status. The design is rebuilt rather than imported, and that is the deliberate part, it is how you leave the plugin stack and theme debt behind. On the white-glove path we handle the import for you.
How long does a rebuild take? +
It depends on the size of your site. For a white-glove rebuild, the timeline is scoped with you up front, so talk to sales. For a DIY rebuild, you set the pace: start free on the Sandbox today and launch whenever you are ready, with no time limit on the free tier.
What happens to my Google rankings when the URLs change? +
They follow you, as long as you set up redirects before launch. SGEN's native Redirects module lets you map every old URL to its new one with 301 (permanent) rules, and the Test URL dry-run confirms each rule matches before you go live. Map old to new, test, launch, and your link equity transfers with your rebuild. On the white-glove path we wire the redirects for you. See redirects for the full module.
What will it cost to be on SGEN after the rebuild? +
SGEN is one all-inclusive platform priced by how many live sites you run. Every plan includes the whole platform, all 23 modules, with nothing to add on. The free Sandbox runs everything on unlimited sandbox sites (staging URL only). Paid plans are Indie (1 site) at $39/mo annual ($47 monthly), Studio (3 sites) at $97/$117, Scale (10 sites) at $297/$333, and Enterprise (unlimited sites) at $497/$577. Enterprise is the published-price ceiling, not a sales call. There is a 2-week trial and you can cancel anytime, prorated. The white-glove rebuild itself is a separate, sales-quoted service. See pricing for plan detail.
